We conducted research for following platforms by Adobe to do in depth analysis

Research Objective
The shift to a digital-first environment has seen a surge in the uptake of document productivity solutions. Following the ban on Chinese apps in India, Adobe experienced a substantial surge in downloads of its applications. However, a noteworthy challenge emerged as only a fraction of these users opted for the paid subscription. Recognizing the large potential in the Indian market, Adobe’s product team sought to delve deeper into user behavior, focusing on aspects such as willingness to pay, product adoption, usability, and localization.

Challenges
There were a few key challenges when it came to conducting a quality research for the platform with millions of users. In order to get the most effective unbiased results, we had to skilfully approach challenges mentioned below

Key Measures to handle these challenges
We conducted a 1 day workshop with members from PM, design, tech, and business teams to dive deep into the app’s goals and lay the foundation for an engaging and intuitive user experience.
Optimal Screening, identifying a diverse range of participants
Over 200 individuals across five major cities in India were screened to find a diverse range of participants. Eight target personas and focus groups were identified to align our research.

Preparation of guidebooks
In order to handle the large amount of participants for research and testing process seamlessly, we created standardised Guidebooks for participants and facilitators.

Maintaining High-volume Documentation
Collaboration in virtual setup required managing and conveying the data received in a careful way. We maintained clear and centralized documentation to track discussions, decisions, and progress. And kept a secured communication with the Adobe team.
Our Services
As part of this project, we worked closely with the client to deliver a set of services aligned with their goals. These services were designed to address key needs and support effective outcomes.

User research and usability testing
We did a thorough research and usability testing to gather insights, helping us understand user behaviours, needs, and perspectives.

Gathering data through Quantitative research
Quantitative research was conducted as the first step to understand user behavior at scale and identify broad trends across the user base. The findings helped surface key problem areas and informed where deeper qualitative exploration was required.

Conducting user interviews
Building on quantitative findings, qualitative research was used to explore the underlying reasons behind observed user behaviors. Interviews and usability sessions provided deeper context into user needs, pain points, and expectations, helping translate data into actionable design insights.

Conducting usability tests
To observe user interactions on Adobe platforms, we assigned participants a set of tasks and conducted structured usability tests to evaluate their experience and identify areas of friction.

Our Impact
The agency’s detailed report encompassed actionable insights and recommendations for Adobe’s APAC and USA product teams. These recommendations included adjustments to pricing strategies, feature enhancements for better user engagement, and improvements in localization to create a more tailored and appealing user experience for the Indian market.
