Challenges

The key challenge was designing a platform from scratch in a complex and unfamiliar Cloud computing infrastructure domain. The interface needed to make orchestration, monitoring, and resource assignment simple, while accurately representing real-time relationships between physical data centers and digital cloud environments. Standard SaaS list-based patterns were not suitable, as the platform had to reflect how infrastructure behaves and connects in the real world

Understanding The Users

Aarna is built for two types of users with very different expectations. Developers and AI teams use the platform to run their work and expect the experience to be quick, clear, and free from infrastructure complexity. On the other side, GPU providers use the platform to onboard and manage their resources, where control, reliability, and visibility are critical.

Platform Ecosystem

We meticulously crafted three unique platforms for Aarna, each one specifically tailored to address a distinct aspect of the cloud infrastructure lifecycle, ensuring comprehensive support and functionality throughout the entire process.

Canvas-Based Orchestration

We designed a canvas-based interface to simplify orchestration across complex infrastructure. Instead of using traditional list views, the canvas visually represents how physical data centers and digital cloud resources are connected in real time.

This approach makes it easier to assign resources, monitor system status, and understand dependencies across regions without switching between multiple screens.

Central Infrastructure Monitoring

This dashboard provides Nvidia Cloud Partners admins with a real-time overview of infrastructure health, capacity, and utilization. Key metrics such as GPUs, memory, storage, and CPU usage are surfaced upfront, along with alerts for newly detected resources that require configuration. The goal was to enable quick visibility and faster operational decisions from a single view.

Running Workloads Overview

The dashboard provides a clear snapshot of GPU usage, costs, and system status for AI teams. By combining balance, burn rate, activity, and alerts in one place, it helps users monitor spending, track workloads, and respond quickly to issues.

Evaluating GPU Options

Selecting the right GPU often involves comparing pricing, availability, and specifications across multiple providers. The design presents this information in a clear and consistent way, making it easy to scan, compare, and evaluate options at a glance.

By surfacing key parameters such as cost, region, VRAM, and storage in one place, the platform helps users make faster, more confident decisions without jumping between provider dashboards.
