UX UI DESIGN CASE STUDY
UX UI design for B2B Image managing and optimization Saas platform.
ImageKit is an API-based plug-and-play platform used by large e-commerce and image-heavy websites for real-time image manipulation, optimization, and resizing across devices. Some of their clients include Cred, Nykaa, Purplle.com, Sony, Dunzo, BigBasket, and many more.
UX /UI design
Our brief was to create an aesthetically pleasing and scalable design system for fast development implementation.
Imagekit team onboarded Ungrammary to redesign their existing platform. The platform is primarily for developers and the marketing team, and it has broadly two use cases:
API integration and environment set up by the development team
Image management by the marketing team
The old version of the platform lacked differentiation in Information Accessibility for these two personas. We created a product architecture that seamlessly caters to both these experiences. Also, our team created a customized design system for a faster development cycle.
Our UX Design team went through our standard ideation session, where we tried to understand the business mechanism, product lineups, and existing website architecture. We help our client define the product taxonomy and branched user flow for different kinds of user personas.

UX Design & UI Deliverables
We started with a complete evaluation of the platform and an understanding of the product and customer use cases from the client. This was followed by the restructuring of global and local navigations. We defined the page layouts and created a design system for the development team.
After completing the design system, we initiated the design module by module, following an agile process with the development and the product team
The project started with the redesign of the existing platform and dashboard and creating a scalable design system. Eventually, it also extended to redoing the website.
